We celebrated H day with a Hawaiian theme. Students learned about Hawaii, dressed up with colorful leis, Hawaiian shirts and dresses and learned the Hula in PE with Mrs. Parker!
We celebrated G day with a variety of games on Tuesday! Students met in multi-age groups to learn and play different board and card games together.
GES preschoolers went on a birding expedition! They found a phoebe nest and a chicadee nest with eggs! They spotted a blue bird checking out the bird house too!
We started our Alphabet Countdown to Summer today. Officer Nick Hodgen from the Hillsboro Police Department came and did a demonstration his canine partner Gibbs.

GES Kinders had some High Hopes for a flawless performance during our NHDI Dance Residency Week! It was such a treat to welcome the community back for the show!
GES 1st Graders had some very Happy Feet as they danced the night away for family and friends at our NHDI performance! It was a fun filled evening full of dancing and laughing!
Mrs. Aborn’s 2nd graders spent the week persevering and powering through as they learned the moves to their dance number with NHDI. The exemplified the Power of Yet, as they kept trying until they got all the steps down!
Our 3rd graders danced the week away to Can’t Stop Moving by Sonny J, and move they did! They were shaking and moving all week long!
