R is for Retirement and Rainbows Day! GES students celebrated Mrs. Aborn’s retirement with a surprise party that included a book full of advice from students about things to do in retirement!

GES Kindergarten and 1st Grade students went on a quest in search of the keys to open the chest! Students had to follow clues around the school. Their final quest had them cooperatively solving a math puzzle to earn a key to the chest!

Hitting the high seas! Students colored and constructed a cardboard pirate ship in the chill zone during our Neon Ninja Field Day!
Playing with the parachute is always a hit on Field Day! Students love running under and around it while they try to keep it up!
We enjoyed water games despite the cool and grey day! Students played a round of sponge toss and tried to stay dry….or not!

We celebrated H day with a Hawaiian theme. Students learned about Hawaii, dressed up with colorful leis, Hawaiian shirts and dresses and learned the Hula in PE with Mrs. Parker!
We celebrated G day with a variety of games on Tuesday! Students met in multi-age groups to learn and play different board and card games together.
